Modify Eudora Mail

Modify Eudora Mail

You will need the following pieces of information before you start the instructions:
Username
Password
Incoming mail server (POP3)
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - you may need to call your ISP or view their website to obtain this information.

Note: It is suggested by Eudora to upgrade to at least version 4.31 or higher.

Step 1

  • In Eudora click on the Tools menu and select Options.

 

Step 2

  • Click on the Getting Started icon in the left hand column.
  • Change the Return address entry to the email address you would like mail recipients to see your mail as coming from.
  • Change the Mail Server (Incoming) entry to the one supplied.
  • Change the Login Name entry to your username.
  • Change the SMTP Server (Outgoing) entry to the address supplied by your ISP.
  • Check the "Allow authentication" option at the bottom.
  • Click the OK button at the bottom.
