Business solution
The Websites at Work Business solution provides all the elements of an easy to maintain business website in one comprehensive package. It involves all hosting, e-mail, domain name registration, full owner control, unlimited pages, search engine submission, quality graphic design, site visitor statistics.
Content management. Your website content is controlled through our easy to use content administration website. We set up the design and layout of your website so you can easily add or modify the content without effecting its functioning. Using Internet Explorer 4 or higher enables you to use a graphical interface to easily modify the format and presentation of your information. There are easy to use tools that enable you to:
- Control font, size and colour of your text.
- Control alignment, indenting.
- Create bullet lists.
- Insert and format tables.
- Insert format and move images.
- Insert hyperlinks to other websites.
Website size. Our content management system allows you to create an unlimited number of pages within up to ten sections. You can also post an unlimited number of images, subject only to a maximum total size of 20MB. Additional storage capacity is available at low cost, for example 50MB of extra storage would add only $Aus5 to your monthly hosting and support fee. Our high capacity servers can handle high traffic levels of up to 1GB data transfer, or higher at a very reasonable additional cost.
Domain name. Subject to availability, we provide registration and administration of your choice of .com, .net, or .biz website address (URL). We will also organise additional website addresses or addresses on other domains, such as .com.au, for a small additional charge.
Forms. A "contact us" form is provided. Additional forms can be provided at a small additional cost, depending on your needs.
E-mail. We provide 30 email addresses (5 POP, 25 virtual) in the form yourname@yourdomain.
Graphic design. We create a professional and eye-catching design that is tailored to effectively project your business or brand image. We create a draft design which uses your existing specialty images, logos, colour schemes and other "corporate image" elements to build an attractive and effective website. We refine the design to make sure both you and your customers are 100% happy. See our portfolio or visit our graphic design page for more information.
Search. You can add a website search to any page you choose, to help your visitors find the information they need.
Website visitor information. We provide comprehensive information on visitors to your website, including where they look, how long they stay, where they were referred from, what search terms they used at search engines and much more.
Website marketing. We make promotion of your website an integral part of our service by working with you to integrate your website into your overall marketing program. We provide search engine submission, assist you with content optimisation and make it easy for you to post and update your metatags. We can provide more substantial marketing assistance through our partners Creative Thinking. Our websites are compatible with banner advertisements and exchanges.
Hosting and support. We provide hosting of all our websites on high bandwidth reliable servers with daily backups and 24 hour monitoring. We free you to concentrate on your business by providing all maintenance and error resolution and 24 hour emerency assistance through our pager service.
Additional features. A wide range of additional features can be added at low cost. Discussion forums that enable you to host and, if desired, moderate a discussion group can be integrated into your website and set up so you can easily run them. We build custom databases. Information collection forms can be linked to databases such as member enrollments, or generate automatic e-mail. We supply a customer relationship management system. If there is a feature you want, just ask - we probably already do it.
Private areas. You can easily add a login page and then set any pages you like to be private. These pages will only be visible to visitors who have a password which you control. This feature is ideal for members areas, staff areas, customers areas, and more.
News and newsletters. Our newsletter subscription and distribution system automates newsletter subscription and unsubscription and includes automatic sending of email messages on subscription or other events. You can easily send formated (html) newsletters.
Referrer discount
Our aim is to provide top quality websites and a service that is so good you recommend it to your customers and colleagues. To show our appreciation when you do this, we offer a 20% discount on your monthly hosting and support fees for every new customer that you introduce to us. The discount is cumulative, so only five successful referrals and your monthly hosting and support will be free.
