Modifying your Netscape Mail Settings
Netscape does not allow you to modify your mail server settings. If you mail server settings have changed for POP or for SMTP you will need to create a new mail account and when you have finished, delete the old one.
Follow the instructions below to create a new account.
To configure Netscape for your new email account, first open Netscape and from the Tasks menu click Mail. This will bring up the Netscape Mail window.
Open the Edit pull-down menu and click on Mail/News Account Settings. This will open the 'Account Settings' window.
Click on the New Account button to launch the 'Account Wizard' .
Click the radio button ISP or email provider then click Next.

In the 'Identity' window, enter your name as you would like it to appear in the e-mails you send. In the 'Email Address' box enter your new e-mail address in the format:
When you have finished entering these details, click Next

In the 'Incoming Server' area, you should have the 'Server Type' set to POP Mail Server and the 'Server Name' should be set to the pop server address supplied for your new email address.
In the 'Outgoing (SMTP) Server' area, enter the smtp server address supplied by your ISP into the 'Server Name:' field. You may need to call your ISP or look on their website to get this information.
Once you have entered these details, click Next.

You will now be asked for your 'User Name', this is the name used to log into the POP Mail Server and collect your e-mail.

The 'Account name' is purely for your own reference. Type in an appropriate name like 'Netscape Mail' or your own name.
Click on Next and then Finish.

Netscape Mail is now configured and ready to use.
